The Foundation Scholarship Committee often looks at school and community participation when evaluating an applicant. If you are interested in finding opportunities for community service, you can look at the Hands On Network, an agency dedicated to connecting volunteers with volunteer opportunities. |

City of Asheville Youth Leadership Academy - Opportunities for students to join the academy to develop as leaders in the community by interning in during the summer, participating in community service activities and leadership workshops during the year and receiving a $2,000 college savings account at completion.
