Statement from Principal Mary Margaret Sullivan:

I am very proud and excited to be the new principal for Asheville Middle School.  It is my hope that our caring, knowledgeable staff will be able to work together with parents, students, and the educational community toward making AMS an even better environment for learning, growth of character, and high student achievement.  We welcome volunteers and envision developing strong relationships with parents, students, and all stakeholders to create a school that is the center of our community and that is responsive to student needs and dedicated to providing engaging, revelant learning experiences for each of our students.

Statement from Ron Coleman:

Hi, I am Ron Coleman, Dean of Boys at Asheville Middle School.  I am privileged to have been with Asheville City Schools since 1994.  I enjoy sports, fishing, gardening, reading, and fishing.  I have a beautiful teacher wife and two grown kids of my own.  Please feel free to come by and talk to me, my door is always open.  I am always interested in developing ideas that can help our students, or we can just talk fishing!!
