Asheville City Schools is proud to announce that our schools have been voted "Best in Asheville" in the 2026 Asheville Media Group's Best of Asheville Awards. This prestigious recognition is a powerful affirmation of the hard work and passion that define our district.
This year’s honors highlight success across every level, with all five elementary schools and Asheville Middle School securing gold awards, alongside silver medals for Asheville High School and SILSA. This back-to-back achievement follows the district's 2025 recognition, in which both elementary and high school levels earned top honors. Together, these consecutive awards highlight a sustained districtwide commitment to academic excellence, student well-being, and strong community partnerships.
Asheville City Schools extends its sincere gratitude to Asheville Media Group and our entire community for believing in the power and promise of local public schools.
