At Asheville City Schools, we ensure that foster care students feel welcome, cared for and above all, have a safe learning environment.

The Foster Care Liaison and the Buncombe County Health and Human Services Department collaborate well to provide the student with the required support to ensure the student has an opportunity to maintain some form of normalcy in the day-to-day living as well as graduate with his or her peers.
