Do you have a passion for supporting student success?Well, now is your chance to get involved and make sure every Asheville City Schools student has the chance to Learn, Discover, and Thrive!We are looking for volunteers to help with our PODS (Positive Opportunities to Develop Success).Volunteer roles include supervising K-12 students and supporting remote learning such as logging into devices, staying on task while engaging with lessons, assisting with tutoring, leading brain breaks and movement activities.Time Commitment/Sites:-Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 1 shift per week-Shifts run Monday - Friday-7:45 AM - 10:30 AM and/or 10:15 AM - 1:00 PM-The first 15 minutes of each shift is for health screening and transition time-Sites are located across Buncombe CountyFor more information and to become a volunteer, click here.
