Asheville Middle School

We are excited to announce the upcoming renovation and replacement of our campus track surrounding the football field. This project is a long-term investment in our athletic facilities, ensuring our student-athletes and physical education classes have a top-tier, modern, and safe surface to run, train, and compete on for years to come.

We know how vital outdoor sports and activities are to our Cougar community, so we have structured this project with our students in mind: our football field will remain fully open and operational for sports and activities while the track construction is underway. While there may be some minor adjustments to access paths around the perimeter of the field, our teams will continue to practice and play without interruption. Thank you for your support as we upgrade our facilities to better serve our students, athletes, and community.

This project has not begun yet but will take place during the 2026-2027 school year. We will keep this page up-to-date so our community is engaged in every step of the process.
