2025-2026 Enrollment

Applications will be given equal consideration, regardless of the date received during the open enrollment period.  Placements are not based on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If space allows, all applications will be placed at their 1st choice.  If there is insufficient space to place all applicants at their 1st choice, that particular school will go to a lottery.

The open enrollment period for the 2025-2026 school year is January 1 -  March 10.  Applications accepted after the open enrollment period will be placed as received.

Transfer Requests For current Asheville City Schools students are also accepted during the open enrollment period. 

For applications received during open enrollment, families of in-district students will be notified of placement by April 19th.  

 For applications received during open enrollment, families of out-of-district students will be notified of placement by April 30th.
