World School Milk Day

Is your life craving cow print and moo-rific mustaches?

Beginning Monday, September 25th, each Elementary School across Asheville City is having its own World School Milk Day Celebration.

As part of the festivities, students are encouraged to wear the best black and white duds.

In addition to having activities like color changing milk experiments and classroom moo-offs, a Milk Mustache Competition will occur throughout each school's lunch period.

An overall winner will be selected from each school, and their photo will be made into a Got Milk? poster that hangs in the school's cafeteria.

Asheville City Schools will be celebrating World School Milk Day at:

  • Claxton Elementary School - Monday, September 25th
  • Isaac Dickson Elementary School - Tuesday, September 26th
  • Ira B. Jones Elementary School - Wednesday, September 27th
  • Vance Elementary School - Thursday, September 28th
