Hall Fletcher Elementary School’s Preschool Program has, once again, received five stars, the highest rating from the North Carolina Division of Child Development.
Programs are assessed every three years and can receive rankings from one to five stars.
They are required to meet a minimum compliance standard and earn their star rating based on staff education and program standards. Additionally, they can earn a “quality point” for enhanced standards in staff education and program standards.
Hall Fletcher’s Preschool Program earned the maximum points (15) for the license and earned high scores on the environmental rating scale, which assesses classroom environment quality.
